Shih Tzu a toy dog breed also known as the Chrysanthemum Dog. It origin is uncertain but is thought to have originated in Tibet and later
developed in China. The name in the Chinese language means “the lion dog” as represented in traditional oriental art. During the Ming and
Manchu Dynasties, the Shih Tzu were considered the exclusive property of the royal court. A particular attribute of the Shih Tzu is that its hair
coat is considered to be hypoallergenic. Also Shih Tzu’s do not shed to the same degree, only losing small amounts when bathed or brushed.
They are companion pets, alert, affectionate, playful and loving dogs and ideal pets for young families.
