The Holstein-Friesian is the most popular dairy cattle breed in the world. The Israeli HolsteinFriesian is a product of cross breeding between the local cattle breed and the Dutch and German breeds. The Israeli strain is an excellent milk producer and is resilient to the conditions in Israel. The cow has a large body and its color is either black-white or brown-white. The Israeli herd is regarded as the highest milk producing herd in the world.
